Software built for the operator, not the market.

Mishra Technologies is the group's engineering arm. We build the systems our own platforms depend on, prove them in production, and only then offer them to operators outside the group.

What we build

Generic enterprise software assumes an office. Heavy industry does not run in an office — it runs on a rig, a blending line, a warehouse floor or a crew boat, where connectivity is intermittent, shifts rotate, and the record of what is true has to survive a handover.

We build systems of record for exactly that environment. Not dashboards over someone else's data, but the primary system where the state of an operation is entered, verified and kept. Every product we run started as an internal answer to a problem one of our own platforms had, which is why none of them are demos.

Product engineering

Full-lifecycle build: discovery with the people who will actually use the thing, architecture, delivery, and the long tail of running it in production. We do not hand over a repository and leave.

Systems of record

Allocation, compliance and logistics platforms for industries where a spreadsheet is still the system of truth. The work is usually less about new features than about collapsing six partial records into one that can be signed.

Integration & data

Metering, ERP, payroll and carrier networks joined so that one number survives the whole chain. A produced volume, a crew member's certification, an invoice line — each should mean the same thing in every system that touches it.

AI-assisted decisioning

Recommendation engines that show their reasoning. Where we rank options — a routing, a supplier, a schedule — the interface states why the top result won, in terms an administrator can dispute. A score with no argument behind it is not a decision aid.

Platform operations

Round-the-clock running of what we build: uptime, security posture, patch and release cadence, all held to contract rather than to best effort.

Why a system of record matters offshore

Offshore logistics rarely fails because people are not working hard enough. It fails because the record of what is true lives in six places at once — a rota in a spreadsheet, certifications in an inbox, a manifest on paper, an invoice in an accounting package. Each is defensible on its own; together they disagree.

Consolidating them is unglamorous and it is where most of the value sits. A verified headcount on a platform is a safety artefact before it is a data point. A certification that expires mid-hitch is a compliance failure that was visible weeks earlier to anyone looking at the right screen.

SubseaCore: from internal tool to product

SubseaCore is the clearest example of how this arm works. It began as the system our own oil and gas platform needed to run offshore crew, assets and contracts. It now runs as an oil and gas enterprise management platform for operators and contractors beyond the group — nine connected modules covering crew management, rig and asset operations, offshore travel logistics, projects and contracts, payroll and billing, documents and compliance, personnel on board, training and competence, and reporting.

Because it was built for our own duty-holder obligations first, it carries assumptions that software designed for a general market does not: rotations rather than calendars, certifications that gate mobilisation, and travel routing that has to stitch two fare networks together when neither covers a journey end to end.

You can read about the platform at subseacore.com.

How we engage

Most work starts as a diagnostic: we map where the record actually lives today, who re-keys it, and what breaks at handover. That usually produces a smaller first build than clients expect, because the first release is aimed at the single reconciliation that costs the most.

What we do

“Offshore logistics doesn't fail because people aren't working hard enough. It fails because the record of what is true lives in six different places at once.”

On why we build systems of record

How an engagement runs

01

Diagnostic

We map where the record actually lives, who re-keys it, and what breaks at handover.

02

First release

Aimed at the single reconciliation that costs the most, not at a feature list.

03

Rollout

Extended module by module, with the old process running alongside until it is redundant.

04

Operate

We run what we build — uptime, patching and releases against contract.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Mishra Technologies actually build?

Systems of record for operating businesses — the primary software where the state of an operation is entered, verified and kept. In practice that means crew and asset platforms, allocation and compliance systems, logistics and reconciliation tools, and the integrations that keep one number consistent across metering, ERP and payroll.

Is SubseaCore a separate company?

SubseaCore is the group's offshore enterprise management platform. It was built inside the group for our own oil and gas operations and is now offered to operators and contractors outside it. Details are at subseacore.com.

Do you take on work outside the group's own industries?

Yes. The pattern we are good at — collapsing a fragmented operational record into one system that can be audited — is not specific to offshore. It applies wherever shift work, certification and contract reconciliation meet.

What does the 99.9% uptime commitment cover?

Availability of the hosted platforms we operate, measured monthly and written into contract rather than offered as a target. Planned maintenance windows are agreed in advance with each client.

Who owns the intellectual property in a custom build?

That is set out per engagement. Where we build a bespoke system for a client, the client normally owns it. Where a client adopts one of our existing products such as SubseaCore, it is licensed.
