MU·03 · Mishra Travel Consulting Ltd
Corporate travel consulting for operators who move crews, not tourists. We source Marine and General fare networks in parallel, build a combined itinerary when no single network covers a rotation end to end, and reconcile every booking back to the contract it was flown against.
A business traveller books a trip. A crew member joins a rotation — a fixed hitch, on a fixed date, to a facility that a scheduled airline does not serve, with certification that has to be valid on the day they board.
Tools designed for corporate travel assume flexibility that offshore rotations do not have. Itineraries here are built around hitch dates and muster times, not published fare calendars, and a missed connection is not an inconvenience; it is a shortfall in the personnel-on-board count at a facility that has a legal minimum.
Most logistics tools assume one network covers a route end to end. Offshore routes rarely work that way. A Marine fare — the specialised crew-change inventory carriers make available to offshore and maritime employers — might exist only for the first leg, out to a connecting hub, with the rest of the journey available only on General published inventory.
We search both networks in parallel and stitch a combined itinerary when no single network covers the whole journey, instead of quietly defaulting to the more expensive option. That is where most of the saving on a rotation programme actually comes from.
Policy design, approval workflow and traveller location tracked against live rotation state. Duty of care for a rotating workforce is a different problem from duty of care for a sales team: the employer needs to know not only where someone is, but whether they are counted as on board, in transit, or ashore — and whether the certification that permits them to be there is still valid.
Every booking reconciled to contract, cost centre and client markup, with cashback logic applied automatically. For contractors who recharge mobilisation costs to an operator, the reconciliation is the commercial product: an unreconciled travel spend is a margin leak that nobody notices until a contract is audited.
Round-the-clock servicing, disruption re-routing and supplier negotiation on behalf of the programme. Crew changes do not respect office hours, and a weather delay offshore rewrites a week of itineraries at once.
The routing engine behind this desk is the same one that runs inside SubseaCore, so operators already using the platform can see rotation, certification and travel in one place. Read more about how we build it.
What the desk covers
“Most tools assume one network covers a route end to end. Offshore routes rarely do.”
How a rotation gets booked
01
Hitch dates, muster times and certification validity define the window.
02
Marine and General inventory queried together, not one after the other.
03
Where no single network covers the journey, legs are stitched through a hub.
04
Every booking matched back to the contract it was flown against.
Questions
Marine fares are specialised airline inventory made available to maritime and offshore employers for crew changes. They typically carry different change, baggage and name-change conditions from published business fares. They do not exist on every route, which is why they have to be searched alongside general inventory rather than instead of it.
Because rotation travel is scheduled backwards from a muster time and a certification expiry, not from a traveller's preference, and because a large share of the available saving sits in combining two fare networks that most booking tools query separately.
Against the published general-inventory fare for the same journey and date at the time of booking. It is a programme average across managed rotations, not a guarantee on any individual booking.
Offshore energy is where the practice began and where most volume sits, but the same approach applies to any employer moving rotating crews to remote sites — marine, subsea construction, and remote infrastructure among them.
Yes. Where a client runs SubseaCore, rotation and certification data already sits alongside travel. Where a client runs something else, integration is a normal part of the engagement.
